"Chi is the universal energy that is all around us. Everything is made of energy. All living creatures, colors, light, plants, buildings and stars, as well as words, music, scents, intentions, actions and dreams are made of energy or "chi." Even the space between two people or two objects is a field of energy. The energy around us is constantly flowing and interacting with each other. Chi comes and goes, attracts and repels, condenses and disperses, pushes and pulls. Chi can swirl like steam or wind, twist and curve around objects or even become an obstacle.

"The concept of chi is ancient, dating back to prehistoric times. As far back as the Bone Period - about 8,000 years ago - humans scratched symbols into bones and shell to keep track of events and various data. Preserved in old scriptures, diagrams and charts, the concept of this universal life force is also recorded in astrology, planetary concepts, feng shui theories, cosmic cycles, universe and star systems, revelations, ancient architecture, rituals and spiritual philosophy.

We are just like raindrops falling in a pond. Each drop creates a ripple that spreads and meets the ripples made by other raindrops. The meetings of the ripples create an infinite variety of patterns. Only one thing remains constant: individual chi - the energy you were born with at the moment you were conceived. The planets were aligned a certain way, for example, creating a specific cosmic atmosphere. Your parents were also born under the stars at specific moments, imbuing them with unique cosmic energy that was present when they breathed life into you for the first time. The combination of these energies was absorbed by you and created the energy cycles in your life."

"My family moved to North Vietnam when I was seven. In retrospection, I can still recall playing with bottle caps with some of my friends in our elementary school playground. The sky was darkened by what we assumed was a cloud covering the sun, but instead, I had my first paranormal experience of seeing a UFO in the sky. It came as fast as it went, disappearing in a white glow. Today, I believe that extraterrestrial beings are part of human ancestry. They guide us with their intelligence. From that day, my friends and I became fascinated by all mysterious things.

"In my culture, spirits and ghosts are everywhere - they are a part of life. Curious by nature, children revel in the idea of seeing or daring each other to contact them. My early experiences made me a very fearless child. Thus, for fun, my friends and I would pretend to be mediums for spirits and ghosts. One of us would light a stick of incense, pretend to be possessed by a forgotten ghost and write fictitious messages with quick strokes of wispy smoke. It was like a contest to send chills down each other's spines in the most creative way. It is not so different from what kids do today, watching scary movies together. We would also play "fortune-teller" and "Ouija" board-like games. Whatever held the element of spiritual dimensions and mysticism, held my attention.

"In school, I spent a lot of time making cartoons and "films" by drawing on sheets of paper that were rolled onto sticks and scrolled by hand. As far back as I can remember, it was natural for me to draw whatever came into my mind. As it turns out, this ability would play a large role later in my life."

"Sometimes, one’s chi is so strong that you know who has entered a room before seeing who it is. This feeling is based on the meeting of the frequency we radiate with the frequency of the person who just entered. We are all born with the ability to tune into the invisible substance floating in the cosmos around us. The soul exists in the non-physical world. Like the pond that the raindrops fall into, we are all connected - by energy. The rain has become pond water because it is made of the same substance. In a little while, it will become rain again. It is a perfect cycle. This universal phenomenon is called the "law of nature." The law of nature is what connects us. It is everything that is true to us. It is also where we get our human instincts to want happiness, peace and love. Our human nature is reflected in the universe. We see it in the planets orbiting the sun, we see it in the leaves turning to soil, we see it in the flower seeds flying with the wind. We are made from and are a part of this creative universal cycle. It is in our chi.

"When we lose contact with our true nature or when our chi becomes unbalanced, we become unhappy. We experience disease, fatigue, failed relationships, bankruptcy, accidents, lawsuits and inexplicable injuries. We suffer on physical and psychological levels. We start hurting and cheating other people and polluting the environment. We forget the law of nature. Humans have come to this because our souls are lost in a materialistic world."

Heaven's three lights, the sun, moon and stars,
Illuminate the whole globe and its seven continents,
Foreign affairs are not skills easily established,
Therefore, we hope to meet benefactors abroad,
From ancient times to modern times, one's art of persuasion must be good,

"We all have the same interests at heart: to be at peace and happy. However, we live in a world of contradiction and paradox. We may have the best objectives, but we use the wrong methods. We fight over oil that spills into the oceans to fuel our cars that will blacken our lungs. We chop trees to build factories that exploit human labor and to print magazines that make us fanatical about our appearances. We burn rain forests to grow crops that are used to feed cattle that we eat so we end up with heart disease. We are digging our own graves. The political situation is parallel to our environmental condition. A corrupt government will produce a corrupt environment just as a peaceful government will create an honest and resourceful people and thus, a clean environment. We have to take a revolutionary step towards balanced living. In a world of greed, poverty, economic stress, pollution, political chaos, religious wars and deceptive media, we need to get back in touch with our most original state, our true state, as loving, merciful, compassionate, intelligent, selfless creatures living together in communities for the sake of living in harmony with our planet and the cosmos."
